John Hartmann / chessbookreviews.wordpress.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
I originally enabled the Associates links to track click-throughs on the blog. I never expect it to come to anything. But as time has gone on, and the popularity of the blog has increased, so have the click-throughs.
Please rest assured that:
(a) I do not receive any remuneration from publishers for what I write, save review copies of books / software / videos from some publishers;
(b) that I do not allow anyone to influence my stated opinions in the reviews (although, believe it or not, there have been bribe attempts!);
(c) that the opinions stated here are mine and mine alone; and
(d) what little revenue comes in through the Amazon affiliate links is often used to buy books for review purposes.
